2006: 10% of the really big pike in Manitoba are caught here
In the Travel Manitoba master angler reward program there were 310 pike caught in the 2006 season that measured 45" or better. Thirty-one of them were caught on our Waskaiowaka lake, which is an amazing 10% of all big pike in Manitoba coming from our lodge. No other lodge came close for the number of pike 45" or better.
2007: Again more 45"+ pike are caught here. Now two years in a row there were more 45" or better pike caught on our main lake than any other lake in Manitoba.
2007: Largest pike caught in Manitoba
2007: 233 Trophy pike caught on our main Lake
2008: 292 trophy pike on the main lake. (no fly outs or outposts included)
2008: 42 trophy pike made 45" or larger on main lake
2008: 13 trophy pike made 47" or larger on main lake
2008: 50" Pike was the largest on the main lake.
2009: Three 50"+ inch pike
2009: Well over 300 trophy pike caught in a short season
2009: Largest pike caught was 52 inches!
2009: Largest pike caught in Manitoba!
2010: Over 400 trophy pike caught by Dunlop's lodge guests.
2010: Largest pike this season - 48", 49" and 50"
2010: 35 pike larger that 45" on main lake, 9 larger that the 47" mark... outposts numbers unknown.
2011: Over 300 trophy pike!
2011: 3 pike made the 49" mark.
2012: Again over 300 trophy pike
2013: Largest pike 49.5", with dozens of pike going over 45"
2014: Largest pike 49" at main lodge and 49" at outposts. 35 pike over 45"
2015: Largest pike 50.1/4" Trophy numbers again was in the hundreds.
2017: Largest Pike 51". 13 trophies caught from 1 boat in one day. Most trophy pike for one group of 4 people was 104!
2018: Largest Pike 50.5". also two at 49.5", 48.5" (on a fly rod)
